The company “EcoMet Reciklaža“ d.o.o. is currently focused on functioning of recycling center in Zajača where complete overhaul of the production plants was made, coupled with replacement of old equipment. The production of lead from secondary raw materials is carried out in the scope of three production entities on the complex, and realization is carried out at stages:
I stage- Recycling waste lead car batteries
II stage- Production of raw lead from secondary raw materials
III stage- Refining raw lead, with application of modern production and ecological requirements.
In 2017 the challenging overhaul of the equipment and restructuring of the facilities and production plants within Zajača complex started. Modern equipment was installed in production complex in Zajača, in line with BAT guidelines for the field of colored metallurgy. All production plants are equipped with suitable aspiration, gas-piping and filter modern systems for reduction of emission of polluting matters in air. The technological process waters are re-used in the technological process thanks to the recycling system, so that they are not released into the natural recipient.
After completed adjustment of urban planning documentation, legalization of all facilities and in line with adopted Plan of detailed regulation of the industrial complex “Zajača“ in Zajača and obtaining of all necessary consents and permits, about 150 people will work in this business complex, in line with dynamics of putting into operation of certain production plants. The company “Eco Met Reciklaža” d.o.o. currently employs 88 people.
